Merle M. Welsey (nee Meakim) age 77 of Runnemede, NJ passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on January 12, 2023. Born on July 16, 1945 she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph Meakim and Jean (nee Donnachie).

Merle is survived by her loving daughter Marisa (Jeffrey) Browndorf. Caring sister of Gregory (Joanne) Meakim and sister-in-law of Carl Cupp. Proud grandmother of Alexander, Nicholas and Rebecca. Aunt of Kurt (Pam) Meakim and Rachel Stippick (nee Meakim). Great aunt of three nieces. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Joseph Meakim and sister Jean Cupp (nee Meakim).

Mrs. Welsey was a  classy woman with a big heart. Merle was devoted to family and friends as they meant everything to her. She will always be remembered for her style and flair which lit up the room as she celebrated life. Merle was a vivacious personality and had a twinkle in her eye that touched everyone. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Life Celebration on Wednesday, January 18 ^th 10:00 to 11:00AM at the CIECHANOWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 400 White Horse Pike, Oaklyn, NJ 08107. Funeral service will be celebrated at 11:00AM. Entombment at New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr.
