Obituary

Joseph T. Higgins of Swedesboro, NJ. Formerly of Philadelphia, PA. Age 83. Passed away on June 8th surrounded by his loving daughters and sisters.

Beloved husband of the late Joyce Higgins (nee Kunkle) whom he was married to for 53 years. Survived by his companion Abigail Connell. Loving father of Kathleen Higgins and her companion Christopher; Holly Grebeck and her husband John. Caring brother of Margaret Voutsinas (Spiro), Barbara Maronski (late Charlie), and Patricia Betancourt (Frank). Proud grandfather (Poppy) of Joseph and Joyana Rucci; John, Matthew, and Luke Grebeck.

Joseph was a graduate of Northeast Catholic High School For Boys class of 1958. He was a retired insurance agent employed by Prudential Insurance Company for 33 years. In his retirement, Joseph was an avid golfer and belonged to multiple golf leagues in New Jersey and Florida, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Life Celebration Thursday, June 15th 10:00 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, St.Aloysius  Church, 37 W. Haddon Avenue, Oaklyn, NJ 08107. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in Joseph's memory can be made to American Cancer Society, P.O.
